Pro Bowl plan 'beyond ridiculous'

Isn't the entire idea of the Pro Bowl to reward the best players?

How do you do that when the best of the best won't even been able to participate?

It won't happen next season now. The NFL is moving the Pro Bowl to the Sunday BEFORE the Super Bowl and will hold it in Miami, the same place as the Super Bowl.

It's the first time in my lifetime the Pro Bowl won't be played in Hawaii.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has already said players from the Super Bowl teams won't play in the game.

Huh?

Let me get this straight. The best players from the best teams won't participate in a sports' All-Star game.

Makes perfect sense.

I get that the Pro Bowl is a joke now, but it will only become a bigger joke when players from the two top teams can't play.

Maybe it's just a lost cause, anyways.

Name a Pro Bowl or All-Star team and just don't play the game, if you like, but to have a game without the best players from the championship teams is beyond ridiculous.

Then again it's the NFL. They can do no wrong.

I hope there is a team with 13 pro bowlers and they make it to the super bowl. I would love to see what they say then! What is bad idea!!!
