| Report: T.O. and Witten 'verbal confrontation' »
Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips says too much has been made of reports that receivers Terrell Owens, Patrick Crayton and Roy Williams talked with offensive coordinator about the offense and the amount of throws from quarterback Tony Romo to tight end Jason Wittten. "It is not a divided locker room," Phillips said. "A lot of it was non-issue and a lot of the players said the same thing." Phillips didn't want to talk about the matter at his Friday morning news conference. "You're going into something that I don't think is true," Phillips told reporters. "I'm not going there." Phillips said he spoke to his team about all of it Friday morning. "I'm going to try to keep the team form getting into it and I think they will," he said. The coach said he doesn't think there will be an on-the-field impact from the all the media attention. "I think he'll do well this game," Phillips said of Romo. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |
