The Dallas Cowboys have a lot of injuries to update -- 15 -- so here goes: Cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones (herniated disk in his neck) will not play Sunday. He has not yet been placed on injured reserve yet. Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said he is taking a "wait and see" approach. Phillips said there is a slim chance Jones could return this season. Running back Marion Barber (toe, calf) did practice, but was still limping some. Phillips said he was able to run straight-ahead well. He will likely play Sunday. Safety Keith Davis (knee) practiced Wednesday, but was held out as a precaution Thursday. Phillips said Davis should practice again Friday and play Sunday. The other starting safety, Ken Hamlin (ankle), will be game-time decision. He has not practiced this week and will be held out all week. Guard Montrae Holland (ankle) has not practiced and is not likely to play Sunday. Cory Proctor should start at left guard. Long snapper L.P. Ladouceur did not practice Thursdday, but Phillips said he should play Sunday. Tank Johnson did some deep snapping before practice. Wide receiver Roy Williams (plantar fasciitis) did not practice, but could play Sunday. Receiver Miles Austin (knee) has been practicing some and Phillips said he has been 100 percent when on the field. Austin could return kicks this week. Jason Witten (ankle, chest) was limited in practice, but should play again Sunday. Bradie James, Mike Jenkins, Justin Rogers, Isaiah Stanback, Jay Ratliff and DeMarcus Ware all participated fully in practice and will play against the Giants. Whew. The Cowboys have another six players already on injured reserve including Pro Bowlers Mat McBriar, safety Roy Williams. |
