Yes, I know technically the Cowboys can grab a playoff berth with a win Sunday in Philadelphia. The question remains, do they deserve it? The Cowboys have been all about two things this season: squabbling, and inconsistency. I don't see how those two things will serve them well on the road in the season's final week, in one of the "unfriendliest" environments in the NFL. Does this team appear ready to rise up and bond together as a unit and get things going now, when it matters most? Our good friend Jean-Jacques Taylor likes to say that you never know which Cowboys team will show up this season- that they happen to surprise you when you least expect it. I think that's true, but my faith is broken after watching the Ravens game Saturday night. I don't think the Cowboys are balanced well enough to make a late-season stand and qualify for the playoffs. When the offense is in sync (rarely), the defense breaks down: exhibits A and B, Willis McGahee and Le'Ron McClain. When the defense is dominating, the offense can't get on track and Tony Romo is missing his receivers left and right. This is not a "team", in the sense of one cohesive unit that is striving towards that goal of becoming a better squad and being a playoff threat. If by some small miracle the Cowboys win on Sunday in Philly, how long do you think they'd really last in the playoffs? I thought so. It's time for some major changes at Valley Ranch. I'm shocked by Jerry Jones' suggestion after the Ravens game that the entire coaching staff may return intact, no matter how this season ends. Is Jerry feeling ok these days? Does he need some help in running this team? Someone may have spiked his iced tea. Talking about the specific changes for next season will have to be another day- probably next Monday on this very blog. But, for now, the Cowboys don't appear to have much of a chance Sunday. I say they get blown out, and Philly puts them out of their misery. Anything else would be a shock.

Who cares, this franchise has not won for 15yrs now, I am 21 and i never remember this team winning anything. i have jumped on the new Americas team, GO PATRIOTS!!!!
Of course they deserve a playoff spot if they win in Philly, it would mean they won enough games to get in. what kind of stupid question is
Charles you are not a fan if you just flip-flop from team to team. A fan is a person who loves their team whether they win or lose. I am 28 and I have been a fan since I was 8 years old. I have seen good times and bad times. You are what I call a Temporary Fan for teams.
Darn i got edited haha!! guess i was to harsh on the writer :o). I been a cowboys fans since the cotton bowl. and through the bad times and many of the good times, i love me some Cowboys football!!! GO BOYS!!!
Well only the Cowboys know if they really deserve it. They will have to show us the fans and the world that they really do deserve the playoff spot. So let's see what they tell us Sunday!
I really think that the boys need to do a few things before I can accept them in the playoffs. T.O. is surely not going to help them in this matter. his attitude needs a lot of adjusting and we all know he wont help the boys with his defiant personality. Tony Romo is injured and he's not playing 100%,but he wont tell anyone about his overall health. if they do go they surely wont go very far. I wish them the best.
