« Cowboys injury update: Barber will miss a lot of practice |

| Cowboys Might Embrace New Role of Underdog »
The Dallas Cowboys normally don't practice on Mondays, so today is an extra practice. With the Thanksgiving Day game coaches have already been able to breakdown game film, which is what they normally do on Mondays. So the Cowboys are using this extra day to prepare for Sunday's game in Pittsburgh, but they're practicing inside. The weather outside is very Pittsburgh like: Windy and in the 40s. Why not outside? Well we don't know exactly, but the coaches often say they prefer to practice where the elements aren't a distraction to their work. It's why they like having training camp in the sunny 70 degree weather in Oxnard, Calif. and not Wichita Falls. Of course the flip side of that is that by practicing inside, the players are not getting exposed to the elements they will likely face in Pittsburgh: Windy and cool. I should note that kicker Nick Folk and punter Sam Paulescu were working outside. |
