Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips says running back Marion Barber will be limited this week with a foot injury. "Any time you lose a great player it's certainly going to hurt you some," Phillips said. It is unlikely Barber will practice this week. Tashard Choice, a rookie, will get the majority of the snaps in practice. The Cowboys could sign another running back or promote Alonzo Coleman from the practice squad. Rookie Felix Jones is out for the season. Phillips said he expects linebacker DeMarcus Ware to practice, but he may wear a brace on his hyper-extended knee. The coach said he thinks wide receiver Miles Austin will miss another week with a knee injury. And his said he is not sure about rookie corner Mike Jenkins and his hamstring injury. The injuries come when the Cowboys will likely have to win three of their last four games to make the playoffs. "Our schedule is probably toughest in the league these last four games," Phillips said. Not terribly encouraging, especially if Barber can't play. |
