Dallas Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman missed the team's Friday practice.

Newman has missed most of the season with a sports hernia. He came back to play Sunday against Washington and had a strong game controlling Santana Moss while grabbing a key interception.

Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips slyly described Newman missing practice as a "secret."
