Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips says he expects quarterback Tony Romo to return for the team's game Nov. 16 at the Washington Redskins. Phillips said it usually take three to four week for a broken finger to heal. Romo broke his finger in overtime of the Cowboys loss to the Arizona Cardinals Oct. 12. Phillips said if Romo can't play Brooks Bollinger would be the starter. Brad Johnson is now the third quarterback after starting three games since Romo's injury. The Cowboys have a bye this week. Phillips said he thinks it's a good possibility that guard Kyle Kosier, cornerback Terence Newman and running back Felix Jones will all return for the Redskins game. 5 CommentsLeave a comment |

go cowboys!!
I hope the return of Romo makes life all better. His absence probably didn't cause the defense to have the bad days it did against the Rams and Giants. Johnson's passer rating yesterday was 27.3; Bollinger's was 60.2. Can you spot the 3rd string QB? Maybe we're getting the bad record so we get a better draft choice next spring--no wait--we gave that up for Roy Williams II. The one thing that I can count on for the Cowboys this season is Flozell Adams will always have his customary at least one penalty. And HE is our franchise player. These are sad times in Big D.
YES YES YES GO COWBOYS
yes, getting players back will only help if the entire team starts to play with heart. there is something wrong on this team, and just getting guys healthy isn't the answer. we can only hope..Romo doesn't tackle, block, go offside, etc. the statistics are just terrible year-to-date.
I hope the Tony Romo from last year comes back. This season, even when the Cowboys were winning, Romo seemed down (literally holding his head down on the sidelines). Where's the confidence? The fire? I hope that returns with him.
