MRIs on two Dallas Cowboys stars both came back negative for major injuries. Linebacker DeMarcus Ware left the Thanksgiving Day game with a hyper extended left knee. An MRI test Friday revealed no ligament damage. Running back Marion Barber suffered a dislocation of his right fifth toe. An MRI for him revealed no fracture. Barber is one of the top rushers in the game and Ware is the NFL sack leader. Barber's backup, Felix Jones, is out for the season, so losing Barber too, even for only a short time would have meant rookie Tashard Choice would be the starter.
