« Lack of backup plan means no Cowboys Super Bowl |
Main
| Bye week is a relief for Cowboys, trouble still ahead »
There are four teams in the NFC East and your Cowboys are in 4th place now. It is still amazing to me that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones would spend the money he does, make the commitment he does trying to win and not have a back up quarterback who can play just a little bit anyway. It says a great deal about the organization and a great deal about the coaches who thought that 40-year-old Brad Johnson could still play. It doesn't make him a bad person, but he can't play anymore. And because of that the Cowboys appear headed to another year -- this would be 12 -- without a playoff win. 6 CommentsLeave a comment |

what a joke.....johnson & bollinger??? there are better qb's in the arena league....this coaching staff should be ashamed & some of them should be unemployed tommorow!! it goes to show spending a wad of cash on high profile players wont win you trophies, ask the yankees....it takes a TEAM of DEDICATED players to make it happen. we could set examples as fans and quit paying for overpriced tickets to go see this debacle of a team.
Jerry,
This team is a disgrace to the NFL, can you see now that you have no backup for a QB that himself has no heart and no desire to win, this team has some awesome athletes on it but once again you are at the bottom where of course you belong.Brad Johnson is a washed up wanna be. I know of at least 2 4A High school teams that could beat yall on any given day. Give me high school football anyday.Wake up Jerry your season is almost over.
Tony Romo, Feix Jones, Jason Whitten, Sam Hurd, Kyle Kosier, Terrence Newman, Pacman, Roy Wiliams,
etc...........Quit whining..Primary problem is the play of the offensive line and team injuries..............How would you like to have played the Giants without,..Eli Manning, Ward, etc.......it would be a different game......................Now, the boys still have to figure out how to stop the run and cover receivers........but I think the offense will pick it up some after the bye..........If Tony and Roy W can develop some type of chemistry, it could get interesting with T.O. maybe having a chance to get off of the line..............we will see.....still, what a disappointing performance.......I guess Brad Johnson inspired them to look forward to the bye...
I don't think winning a playoff game is the question this year. The question is whether the Cowboys will get to the playoffs.
Should have kept BARTEL!
What brainiac came up with the idea to cut him and keep Johnson in the first place? Then to add insult to injury, they go out pick up Brooks (there are 50 unemployed Quarterbacks better than me) Bollinger who after 6 years in the NFL is still probably the worst QB on ANY NFL roster.
Are you kidding me?
the telling traight of the Cowboys was the end of the game when rookie Patrick 'don't wanna get myself hurt and ruin my hairstyle' Watkins, pulled up when the Giants running back was heading into the endzone. He probably would not have stopped him but he's a football player, or maybe not.
This team has no heart and no guts. I sick of hearing about 'all that talent'. Bull.
