Do the Cowboys really need Pacman?

4:28 PM Thu, Nov 20, 2008 |
George Riba

I can't tell for sure how many of Pacman Jones' teammates are truly excited about having him back. I think if you took a poll, you might be surprised to see how much support from his teammates has deteriorated.

After all, the club has managed to climb out of their death defying spiral without having the troubling cornerback on their team.

So, why should any player on this team be excited about having this guy back on the te...

Unsuspended Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones is not back with his teammates quite yet.

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones says he expects Pacman back working out Monday.

There has also not been any official word from the NFL on the reinstatement.

Cowboys' Felix Jones out for season

1:38 PM Thu, Nov 20, 2008 |
Aaron Chimbel

Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones will miss the rest of his rookie season.

The electrifying runner and return man will be placed on injured reserve due to a torn ligament in beneath his left big toe.

Jones missed four games with a hamstring injury. Wednesday was his first time back at practice since before his initial injury in the Arizona loss Oct. 12.

"We thought at some time that he'd be back," said head coach...

T.O. back at Valley Ranch

12:23 PM Thu, Nov 20, 2008 |
Aaron Chimbel

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens was back at Valley Ranch Thursday, a day after being sent home with flu like symptoms.

He was participating fully in the team's afternoon practice and was well enough to play dominoes with his teammates before that.

The Cowboys need Owens because there are only two other healthy receivers on the active roster. Patrick Crayton and Roy Williams worked with the first team Wednesday. >> Continue reading: T.O. back at Valley Ranch

Blast from the past for Dale Hansen

11:09 AM Thu, Nov 20, 2008 |
Aaron Chimbel

On last night's 10 p.m. news, Pete Delkus had another surprise for Dale Hansen.

This time it was someone from Dale's past... Barry Switzer.

You can watch it here, it's worth it.

Many of you probably know the back story.

Dale and the former Cowboys head coach had a heated exchange during training camp back in 1994.

It's probably Dal...

Don't Bury the Mavs Just Yet

10:56 AM Thu, Nov 20, 2008 |
David Marcus

Just a week ago, fans were calling yet again for Dirk's exile and the premature end of the Rick Carlisle era. On our nightly call-in show (Sportstalk on Channel 52, KFWD from 6:30-7PM...had to get the plug in), fans were dialing in on a daily basis, demanding the Mavs blow up the team and start over.

Funny what a three game winning streak can do to change things.

I'll say now what I told all those callers. Have patience. This i...
