November 13, 2008 ArchivesDallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says his team can absolutely make the playoffs. He's an amazingly positive man and I like that about him. But then as soon as he says that he says something incredibly stupid, like he usually does. Jones says if Pacman Jones gets re-instated next week -- and he could -- NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has to decide that, but Jones says if Pacman can get back in the league again, he's welcome back... The Dallas Cowboys tried something new at practice Thursday: Getting physical with their wide receivers and cornerbacks. The team's receivers, especially Terrell Owens, have had a hard time with press coverage in recent weeks. Part of that is due to backup quarterbacks playing, but the Cowboys still struggled with it prior to Tony Romo's injury.
