Even if you're single now, you can still starting making plans for Valentine's Day 2010.

The Dallas Mavericks, NBA, Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, Mark Cuban, Marv Albert and David Stern all came together to announce the 2010 NBA All-Star game is coming to Dallas... well actually Arlington... and the Cowboys new stadium.

Cuban said he didn't think the Mavs would ever host an All-Star game because the AAC isn't big enough to hold all of their fans. I'm sure that was it.

He said he was happy that Jones decided to build his stadium so there would be someplace big enough.

So in 2010 the All-Star game will be here. Last time it came to the area, 5' 6" Spud Webb (a Dallas-native) won the slam dunk contest and Reunion was big enough to hold all the rowdies.

The game will be played Feb. 14, 2010 and I'm sure many of you will have no problem convincing your significant others what your plans should be for that night.

Start convincing them now.

I heard that Jerry Jones and the family were going to throw a Grand Opening Party at the new stadium ("Jerry World") to thank the citizens of Arlington for their assistance in making HIS new stadium possible!!! Jerry announced at a press conference that the cost for parking will be $20, admission $55, hot dogs $15, beer $10, nachos $12 and a complimentary program will be $100. Of course this is only to cover HIS expenses and that he is sure that the citizens will more than cooperate with his dream of the stadium benefiting the citizens of Arlington and the MetroMess!!! Cowboy season ticket holders will not be exempt from these charges and will have to pay just like everyone else!!!
