Some of the best basketball players not in Beijing will be in Desoto Saturday for a softball tournament, all benefiting the Josh Howard Foundation.

Celebrities slated to participate include Mavs guard Jason Terry, Kenyon Martin (Denver Nuggets), Tracy McGrady (Houston Rockets), Greg Buckner (Memphis Grizzlies), Rosci (106 & Park), DMC (Run DMC) and Derek Harper (former Mavs guard), among others.

Dallas Mavericks forward Josh Howard will host a celebrity softball game at Grimes Park in DeSoto. Josh and his All-Star's will take on the K-104 Ballers.

There will be an autograph session with the celebrities from 3-4 p.m., a Celebrity Home Run Derby from 4-5 p.m. and the Celebrity Softball Showdown from 5-7 p.m.

Admission will be $10 and all proceeds will benefit The Josh Howard Foundation.

When: Saturday, August 16, 2008, 3-7 p.m.
