I went to the Dallas Cowboy open practice yesterday at Texas Stadium. What a crazy unorganized event. I went to the Texas Motor Speedway Fan fest the day before that and it was great. In Nascar the way you line up for autographs is the way people get the autographs, what I mean is If you are 10th in line you are 10th to get the autograph, not the case at the Cowgirls, I mean Cowboys event. My husband and I were about 20th in line, we ended up being about 300th in line the way they did that. We waited in the hot steaming sun for 8 hours, with periods of downpours of rain mixed in. But we waited it out to be able to get autographs from the Cowboys of yesterday. While in the stadium, you know it has an open roof, it started raining right as the players were coming out. The big primadonnas were afraid to get wet so they just walked off, meantime the fans who had been waiting all day were just S.O.L.. If they had just moved the tables they were sitting at back about 10 feet they wouldn't have gotten wet. Everytime I have been to a nascar event they have a back up plan for rain, not the stupid Cowboys. Eddie at Texas Motor speedway is the best, and I am sure all other track owners all have some sort of back up plan for rain. Jerry Jones of the Cowboys needs to take a few lessons from Nascar and Nascar Fans. They call us stupid or not smart people but it seems to me football players who think they are some sort of Gods and don't care about the fans, need to take lessons from the Nascar drivers who know if it wasn't for the Fans they wouldn't have a job. All Football players care about is thier check, how much money they get, Nascar drivers respect the Fans. Football players are the worst athletes there are. Just my Opinion.
