What a Show!!!

I can remember not being able to sleep as a kid waiting for "breakfast at wimbledon." I thought it was the coolest thing not having to wait for one of the premiere sporting events in the world.

But in recent years, the american men haven't done much on the grass courts of the all england club. Andy Roddick tried to carry the torch, but it slipped away. So, interest in tennis has waned in our country. But it doesn't matter where you're from. If you love sport, what Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer created in today's Wimbledon final was incredible. Who needs reality tv when sports provides the kind of drama it did today. The 5-time champ looks dead in the water, only to come back and tie the match. And when you're thinking the young challenger might choke away a championship, he comes through to author his own bit of history. It was all I need sports to be - compelling and must-see tv.

Now, if we can just get some american men back in there, the interest level in this country might go up.
