It has finally happened ... and I honestly didn't think it would -

Jessica Simpson has come to Oxnard to hang out with her quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo - celebrity gossip sites have the pictures of her and Romo going to dinner this week

Romo wears that cap - shirt - and shoes every day ... hope he has more than one

Now this isn't a big deal - it really isn't - but it's going to become one and that's why i didn't think she would be here

Romo is the kind of guy who does his own thing and really doesn't seem to care at all what other people say - and I respect the heck out of that - but I would imagine fans will be saying plenty about this ... and it just doesn't make sense to me he would bring the criticism on himself that's bound to come

Now the reality is training camp never has been the monastery for football monks a lot of fans think it is - and I don't think for 1 moment the cowboys will lose a game in November becuz of Simpson in camp in July

But it's just not worth the hassle is it ? ... Well on 2nd thought ... maybe it is

I just want to ask why are media/sports guys giving so much attention/coverage to T. Romo and J. Simpson? I don't recall you all giving that much coverage to Troy Aikman back in the day!

Romo is as "Hollywood" as Jessica is. He has made a fool of himself repeatedly during the off-season. Anything for publicity. He has even joined forces with Papa Joe (Jessica's father). Remember....it was Papa Joe who publicly announce Jessica would be arriving at the Cowboy training camp today. He also announced she will be attending all the Cowboy games. Why should we care? Apparently Romo cannot concentrate on the game when she is around. (Lets not forget what happened last season.)

I truly hope I am wrong ......but I don't think so. His publicity antics over the last few months speak volumns.

I cannot for the life of me believe that Jerry Jones cannot put a stop to Jessica's antics....get rid of her! She is a total distraction, and the Cowboys will lose....watch and see!

Romo invited this distraction. Lets see if Romo can be successful or turn into a huge disappointment for Cowboy fans.
