No matter how many times Michael Young came up in the All-Star Game Tuesday night and stretching past 1:30 Wednesday morning in New York you, or I at least, kept thinking Young would win it. He's simply clutch. I just didn't think it would take to the 15th inning. Two years ago Young was the MVP of the game when he hit a game-winning triple. This time it was a sacrifice fly that gave the Texas Ranger and the American League a 4-3 win over the National League. It took 4 hours and 50 minutes and ended with the Rangers shortstop at the plate. Boston's J.D. Drew was the MVP this time, but Young was the hero again. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

To make this story even more incredible, last year (2007) Michael Young was not allowed an at bat in the All Star game, even though he was selected to be on the team.
Way to show them Mr. Young!
