Finally, six months after the Dallas Cowboys 21-17 playoff loss to the New York Giants the Cowboys head to Oxnard, Calif. for training camp this week. It should be an eventful camp. The Cowboys, by pretty much all prognostications, are a favorite to represent the NFC in Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa February 1. That what you expect from a team coming off a 13-3 season with 13 returning Pro Bowlers and the addition of another Pro Bowler, Zach Thomas, at linebacker and Adam Jones at corner. Of course Jones is still suspended by the league. Then there is the usually Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson talk, Terrell Owens and his popcorn, Terry Glenn and his contract dispute, plus the story lines that have yet to develop. You can also check out this training camp preview story and offseason capsule. It's time to go camping. The team leaves Thursday. |
