Early Cowboys season predictions

With training camp only five days old with today being number six, I find myself(while part of the crew back in Dallas) longing to be in Ox-"nurd"(as Jerry Jones would say). Not only would the weather be a nice break from this 100 degree plus heat, but just to see some football and contact in person would be nice. But, that will not come for a couple of more weeks, so let's have some fun. Not that I am a known analyst, but everyone likes to throw in their 2 cents on season predictions(especially with this team of All-stars), so lets go games 1-8 today. Just FYI, this is my OPINION, but could later to turn out to be fact.

Week 1: At Cleveland. While opening on the road isn't nearly as fun as being at home, the Cowboys head to Cleveland to play an over-rated Browns team who will succumb to having Brady Quinn as their starter when Derek Anderson returns to Earth. Points aplenty in this one: 34-21, Cowboys

Week 2: vs. Philly. Cowboys take on Donovan "We should win the NFC this season" McNabb and Cowboys are out to prove a point on Monday Night football. 24-10 Cowboys

Week 3: at Green Bay. The Aaron Rodgers led Pack don't scare me or the Cowboys and Lambeau in September is not Lambeau in December. In front of a national TV audience Cowboys flex their muscle. 35-24 Cowboys

Week 4: vs. Washington. First two games vs. divisional opponents bode well for America's Team. Washington can't keep up offensively. 28-20 Cowboys

Week 5: at Arizona. Start of a two game road trip. Plenty of Cowboys fans in attendance to see this one. 31-10, Cowboys

Week 6: at St. Louis. They were terrible last year because of injuries, and a healthy Steven Jackson helps put a scare into the Super Bowl favorites, but Romo pulls a Detroit 07 in this one. 24-23 Cowboys.

Week 7: vs. Tampa Bay. Boys return home to take on a very predictable Tampa team. Dallas looking to rebound from the lackluster showing in St. Louis, put the offense in motion. 35-13 Dallas.

Week 8: at NY Giants. The defending Super Bowl champs said they feel disrespected despite winning the Super Bowl last year. The pass rush is too much for Romo and the O-line. Dallas drops their first game of the season. 21-10 Giants.

So Games 1-8: 7-1 record, 2-1 vs. Divisional opponents. Not a bad start.
Feel free to give me your thoughts.

Games 9-16 coming Thursday.
