While the american men have failed to get it done on the world tennis scene, we need to thank Venus and Serena Williams for getting their games together, staying healthy, and creating a buzz at Wimbledon. Its such an odd thing to watch two people so obviously close battle it out for the most coveted prize in their given proffession. After it was over, you ... I can remember not being able to sleep as a kid waiting for "breakfast at wimbledon." I thought it was the coolest thing not having to wait for one of the premiere sporting events in the world. But in recent years, the american men haven't done much on the grass courts of the all england club. Andy Roddick tried to carry the torch, but it slipped away. So, interest in tennis has waned in our country. But it doesn't matter where you... Amazing. Roger Federer wouldn't quit. Rafael Nadal too. Stretching to past 9 p.m. London time, a record long 4 hour 48 minute match, matching one Bjorn Borg record as he looked on from the Queen's box, while Borg keeps another record.
