TCU has announced its 2008 TCU Lettermen's Association Hall of Fame Class.

It's the 40th Anniversary of the TCU Lettermen's Association Hall of Fame. This year's inductees are swimmer Becky Brill, Olympic sprinter Beverly McDonald, football lineman W.C. Nix and defensive back Dr. John Richards and the 1938 TCU National Championship football team.

The induction is October 2.

Brill was a nine-time All-American selection for the Frogs in four separate event and was selected to the Southwest Conference All-Decade Team for the 1980s.

McDonald competed for the Jamaica National Team during the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. She earned a silver medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics in the 4x100-meter relay.

Nix was selected to the All-Southwest Conference Team during his junior and senior campaigns where he was the only TCU football player to be voted all-conference in those seasons.

Richards led the Southwest Conference in interceptions during his junior campaign and was selected as an All-Southwest Conference pick during following his senior year.

The 1938 Horned Frogs outscored their opponents by a 269-60 margin and held nine of their 10 regular-season opponents to seven points or less, including three shutouts. The Frogs finished the season 11-0 with a 15-7 victory over Carnegie Tech in the Sugar Bowl to become the consensus national champions.
