Maybe the rumors of Roger Federer's demise were greatly exaggerated. The five-time Wimbledon champ advanced to the fourth round with a straight-set win over Marc Gicquel of France. It took longer than necessary because of a 1-hour, 41-minute rain delay. "Again, difficult conditions, tricky opponent," Federer said. Federer hasn't dropped a set so far in the tournament. "It's always nice," he said. "Couple of days off now. Hope I His winning streak on grass is now 62 matches. Federer has returned to his dominant form, dropping only two service games in eight matches, since his lopsided French Open final defeat to No. 2 Rafael Nadal. |
