No not the former head coach of the Mavs, but his son the current president of basketball operations and G.M., Donn Nelson with two Ns.

He said in interviews he's not exactly interested in the job, but he hasn't ruled it out either. Back when his father became the team's coach, the younger Nelson was called the heir apparent. He, instead, headed to the front office and assembled a team that nearly won an NBA title.

He has the offensive mind owner Mark Cuban is looking for and, more importantly, he can actually work with Cuban. But Donn Nelson seems content to be the G.M., so don't expect him to become head coach, then again you never know what to expect with Mark Cuban.
