Rangers up all night

The good news is the Rangers broke their five-game losing streak. The bad news is it took them 14 innings and they nearly blew another late lead (5-2 in the eighth).

Still they showed some resiliency. They also showed a lack of clutch hitting. They left 19 men on base -- 19. It finally took an A.J. Burnett wild pitch in the 14th for the Rangers to retake the lead.

So back to the good news, the Rangers won 7-5. Now they have to figure out how to get runners home. They're getting them on base, now they have to perform when it counts. And they may have to do it without oft-injured third baseman Hank Blaylock, who re-injured his back and may go on the DL.

It's always something with the Rangers.
