A light moment on a tough day for the Mavs at their expense.

Today at the AAC, I was among some 35 media types all gathered around, waiting for Donnie Nelson to come out and talk to us. A P.R. person came out and told us that Nelson would be out in a moment, make a statement, and take no questions.

One of the photographers then quipped from behind the cameras...

"Statment, heck I been waiting for this team to make a statement all year."

Ouch. The truth sometimes hurts.

I do not fell the losses are Averys falt. I do agree changing players can be a good thing. This trade broke up the team.

I no longer will stay up late, or not attend a event to watch the Mavricks. The loss of Coach Avery has turned me away from the Mavricks. Good luck to the team, however one less fan.

Team and Coach you did well. Managment needs work!
