I'm in the press section here at the New Orleans arena where its obvious to us like everyone else watching this game that the Mavericks trying to double team Chris Paul isn't working!!!

David West has made the Mavs pay with a slew of wide open jumpers.

A couple of times when Josh Howard and Brandon Bass tried to double him, Paul made a move and shook both defeners. If that doesn't get better it could be a long night.

Paul finishes the half wth a double-double 12 points, 10 assists. West - 18 points. Hornets score 67 in the half and shoot 61.5%.
