Dunbar Studios will produce 3 exclusive limited edition collections of our Swarovski crystal clad guitars for the Neiman Marcus Holiday Book 2008. We have chosen 3 styles of guitars, one from Fender, one from Gibson and one from Paul Reed Smith for the editions. All are custom instruments with custom hardware and electronics. Amanda remains our lead artist and designer. She has been directing the entire art project which will be a small part of a larger exhibition. (News on that to come soon) Ken has been assembling the custom electronics and hardware for the project while Judi has been assisting Amanda with the designs, the design transfer processes and in applying the crystals. The Neiman Marcus exclusive editions will contain 5 guitars per design which will be marketed worldwide in the Neiman Marcus Holiday Book 2008. The Book 2008 is scheduled to be released in the fall. (Each guitar has over 5000 crystals to be applied by hand one at a time) We will be placing orders with the manufacturers for various custom instruments soon.
