Our crafting genius, Miss Nancy at Children's Medical Center Dallas has done it again with another truly awesome craft that she's sharing with Tiki readers that she just made with the kids at Children's. Here is patient, Gunner Vine, 6, putting together this month's craft a Flower Pot Frog. Check out the picture of the end result and for instructions for making one at home!
Flower Pot Frog Trace patterns for frog's mouth, hands and feet on green craft foam and cut out. Glue ends of mouth together (refer to picture; hold with clothespins until dry). Cut two strips of green felt 12" long x 1" wide for legs and two strips 4 ½ " long x 1" wide for arms. Cut out green felt collar. Glue one end of each strip to front and back of foam hands and feet. (Refer to picture) Tie knots into long felt strips for knees. Glue ends of short felt pieces to top of pot and glue felt collar on top of it. With glue gun, glue doll head on top of collar. Glue wiggle eyes to white pompoms, then glue pompoms into doll's head. Glue mouth under eyes. Glue ends of leg strips onto inside front edge of flower pot. Let dry. |
