This musical masterpiece is a collaborative effort of artist, Amanda Dunbar; her mother, Judi; and her dad, Ken. The Dunbar family are like some of my favorite peeps in the whole world!

Many of you have heard of Amanda, the youngest inductee into the Texas Women's Hall of Fame alongside such notables as Barbara Bush and Sally Ride. Her artwork is incredible and now she's creating these pieces of art with her parents (Judi is also an artist) for the music world called "Precious Rebels."

"The concept was born from Amanda working with the Grammy’s Musicares program," said Judi. "She began doing paintings of instruments and then moved on to painting on guitars for their auctions. I did the finish work. She and I then moved on to putting the jewels on the guitars using designs we both created. Ken began to get involved because he is a guitarist and loved the idea of custom fitting all of the hardware."

The guitars are clad in 100% Swarovski crystals in one-of-a-kind designs that light up on stage. Each instrument is fit with RFID technology to catalog them and to protect them for future authentication purposes. The Precious Rebels are fully playable sculptures that retail anywhere from $15K to $75K depending on the quality and rarity of the instrument and the design complexity. They come in PRS Models, Gibson, Fender and more if that makes sense to any of you guitar buffs.

All I know is that I've seen them and they are amazing! I KNOW they're going to be a mega hit in the music industry and art world.
