Blogs have been posting the unfariness of Kristy Lee and a few other contestants who once had recording deals. Some folks are even starting petitions against these contestants. To come to their defense, Nigel Lythgoe, producer and creator of American Idol has reiterated that these contestants still meet the qualifications of American Idol since they are no longer under contracts. End of story.

Others are claiming that these contestants are plants by American Idol. Wrong again. Kristy Lee first tried out in LA. Didn't make it there. She sold her horse to be able to go to the tryouts in Philadelphia staying with a friend of a friend who was also trying out. She got picked the second time around. She's definitely not a plant.

Then of course, everyone's trying to dig up even more dirt on these Idol hopefuls even creating "alleged" sex tapes. Where do people find the time to do all this digging for dirt and the bigger question is why???
