I'm glad to get rid of the two giant bowls of candy that I've had sitting around. They're no longer a temptation in my quest to continue to get in shape and lose weight! Although right now I'm going through some serious mini-Snickers withdrawal pains. I got to have a nice talk last night with Claire's grandmother, Betty while we walked the neighborhood following our group of trick or treaters. She recalled some great stories of all the fun her husband had decorating their home into a hauted house, dressing up, and scaring neighborhood kids. Her husband passed away on October 7th so it was special hearing those stories from her. My son and his friends spent the night hiding in trees and bushes terrorizing the kids that dared to walk up to our door or down the sidewalk. The foot traffic at one point ended once kids further down the block witnessed one too many kids running and screaming from our house. It all added up to a night of great memories all around. Hope yours did, too! I'd love to see pics of your Halloween. Email them to me at ctcoats@aol.com. Now countdown to Thanksgiving!
