After being away for 7 years, it's time to call Houston home, once again and I'm happy to do it at KHOU and khou.com.

My name is Daniel Gotera and I'm the newest member of the Channel 11 Sports Team. I'll be in charge of a lot of sports content here on the web, such as posting stories, uploading videos, and posting blogs on a daily basis.

I come to KHOU from KXII in Sherman, Texas where I covered Big 12 football and Dallas pro teams. Now, I'm switching gears and covering all teams, in all sports from the playoff hopeful Houston Texans to the always exciting Houston Dynamo to the exciting high school season that's starting at the end of the month.
