For Schaub its Phillies all the way

I was out at Reliant Stadium this morning getting the 411 on the Texans, as they worked out a game plan for the winless Bengals. A victory by the Texans on Sunday would be their 3rd straight, and that would be a franchise record.
Quarterback Matt Schaub is looking forward to the game on Sunday, and the one being played on the diamond tonight.

Its game 1 of the World Series between the Rays and the Phillies . Schaub grewup in West Chester, Pennsylvania and has fond memories of the Phillies. "Growing up there for 10 or 11 years I started following the Phillies, "Schaub said. "I remember the 93 series watching Mitch Williams giving up the walkoff homer to Joe Carter and I've been watching them ever since." Matt will be watching the game tonight, but that doesn't mean he'll be skipping out on any football work. Schaub told me, "I'm still going to watch game tapes, I'll just get it done before the game but I'll be asleep before its over."

According to Schaub, with all the hype surrounding the "Rays" his beloved Phillies are getting overlooked.
"Maybe a little." "The Rays beat the Red Sox, the great red Sox and since the Devil Rays have gone from worst to first and to the World Series maybe they are getting more run, but that's the way we like it in Philly."
