The Texans pushed both of their workouts to the late afternoon to avoid Tropical Storm Edouard. Thankfully the storm didn't pack a punch, but the Texans practiced with a lot of intensity. The goaline sessions were really lively.
But Tuesday's practice was geared more to preparing for Saturday's preseason opener vs the Bronocos. Coach Kubiak use a radio to relay the plays to the quarterbacks, simulating what they do in the games.

They also did a lot of work on special teams, paying a lot of attention to returning punts.
Meanwhile, don't expect to see wide out Andre Johnson on the field Saturday night. On Tuesday he missed his second straight day of practice recovering from a groin injury. Coach kubiak put it this way, "There's a good
chance that one doesn't play."
