Will the Rockets get the good Artest, or the bad one

It worked for the Boston Celtics, and they have the "bling, bling" to prove it. The Celtics put 3 big names together, Garnett, Pierce, and Allen, producing another title in "Beantown". Can the Rockets do the same thing with Ron Artest joining Tracy Mcgrady and Yao Ming ?

Of course, the question inquiring minds want to know is, will the Rockets get the good Ron Artest, or the bad one. Will they get the elite player who, at 6'7 and 240 pounds is a matchup nightmare for opposing teams, or the one who has the potential to walk on the darkside. Here's hoping channel 11's Jeff McShan never gets a call from the
Houston Police Department about Artest. But I think the potential for sucess outweighs the potential for disaster. The window to win a Championship is slowly closing on T-Mac and Yao. McGrady is 29, and Yao is 28. But injuries have slowed both of them down recently. But if you throw Artest into the mix, it should take some of the burden off of McGrady and Yao. Less stress on them, means the opportunity for injuries should also be less.

Let me throw something about Artest into the conversation. I met the guy a couple of years ago. We actually had a great conversation. He appeared to be a guy who's serious about getting his life together, of course only time will tell. I do know he likes the city of Houston. He was in town producing a Rap CD when I did a story with him.
He does have a lot of interest, but at 28 years old, He needs to realize what an opportunity he has to win a championship with McGrady and Yao. Artest has all the talent in the world, but the Rockets sucess with him
on the court, may come down to how commited he is to playing basketball. If his head is on right, the Rockets might want to start shopping for championship rings.
