On Wednesday morning a nice breeze greeted the Texans, but at this point the players didn't really notice.
After 6 days and 12 workouts they are starting to know each other really well.
"We're just competing , the offense will have a really good period and then the defense will come back and
answer the bell with a good period, we go back and forth but its all making us better," said quarterback Matt Schaub.
Meanwhile, veteran Andre Johnson is still feeling his way through training camp. I had a chance to talk to
him as he left the practice field and according to Dre his knee is holding up fine. "I have confidence in what i
can do. But I feel like I'm not where I want to be, and at times I baby my left leg while running routes."
Johnson added, " the only thing that will make the situation better is me doing more stuff on the field."
By the way veteran Rosevelt Colvin went with the rest of the defensive line to sign autographs for about
20 minutes. After that I talked him into stopping by for a short interview eventhough he was tired and
hungry. As we got to the second question Travis Johnson swooped in and yanked him away. Apparently his new teammates have already learned how to get each other out of unwanted interviews. The Texans were planning to cover "Special Teams" during their afternoon workout.
