The news that Tiger Woods will have season ending knee surgery to repair torn ligaments sent shockwave through the P.G.A. Tour. After all, what are the Pips without Gladys Knight. Can you imagine the Dave Matthews Band without Dave Matthews. I can promise you commissioner Tim Finchim isn't looking forward to life without his biggest attraction no matter what he says.

Tour veteran Kenny Perry put it this way, "Tiger is our tour."
