Ok , so Tracy McGrady hasn't been the second coming of Michael Jordan in the 4th quarter. Outside of Kobe, and sometimes LeBron who has been. Listening to talk radio this week , its clear to me that some of you think T-Mac has a better disappearing act than Criss Angel. For you guys , I have a suggestion. Instead of focusing in on the final quarter checkout the first 3. Better yet , imagine where the Rockets would be without McGrady. Do you really want to run the guy out of town?

No T-mac, no 22 game winning streak. Without McGrady, do the Rockets even make the playoffs ? I don't think so .
If this team proved anything this season its they can win without Yao , but not without McGrady.

Maybe Tracy's biggest fault is he's too honest. Next time we the media ask if he's tired, McGrady should pull an Ernie Banks and say, "lets play two." When we ask if his knee is hurting , he should respond by saying, I'm ready to run the
Kentucky Derby. Bring on Bob McNair's horse "Cowboy Cal" , I'll take him out. You see McGrady can't win .
If he doesn't tell us the truth about his health, he'll be ripped for lying . If he does , then he's whining. McGrady doesn't have the body to take the punishment that a Lebron does . So why does everyone think he should be as durable as "King James".

Mcgrady is a superstar, but he can't do it by himself . Last night he scored 29 in the Rockets blowout win in game 5.
But he had plenty of help from his friends. Rafer Alston, Luis Scola, and Bobby Jackson were all really good. The Rockets were tremendous on defense holding the Jazz to a season low 69 points . Where was the help defense in game 4 ? I like to compare McGrady to Paul Pierce . Think about it , Pierce was McGrady until Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen came to town. All I'm saying is, sometimes fans and the media can be too negative . Sure T-Mac has to accept some criticism, but the guy is not Cuttino Mobley. Trust me , the Rockets are better with McGrady than without him.
I'm willing to bet after last night's victory, the McGrady band wagon is filling up again. If the Rockets go on to
win the series T-Mac will be the toast of the town again. The N.B.A. , like all sports is a what have you done for
me lately business, and right now the Rockets are doing a lot .
