Longtime Klein Soccer coach Baker retiring

On Saturday afternoon, the Klein boys soccer team played Lewisville Marcus
for the 5-A state title. Unfortunately, the Bearkats didn't nail down their 4th state championship. They were shutout by the Marauders 3-nil .
It marked the end of a remarkable season, the Kats went 20-3-2,
and the brilliant coaching career by Allen Baker.

Coach Baker had already planned to retire at the end of the season.
I remember interviewing coach Baker many times because he had so many good teams . Under Baker the Bearkats advanced to 13 state tournaments and 3 state titles .
