With Deron Williams leading the way with 22 points ...and Carlos Boozer making 13 and Mehmeet Okur adding 16 ...the Jazz beat the Rockets 90 to 84 ..and the local fans may have just watched their final home game of the season.

Tracy McGrady led the Rockets with 23 ....but it wasn't nearly enough. Bobby jackson had 18 .... little Aaron Brooks added 11. Shane Battier added 8.

It came down to the final down to the final 4 minutes. With 4 minutes left ... the Rockets trailed 81 to 78 .... Bobby Jackson could have made it a one point game but he missed two straight free throws. Luis Scola then hit a shot inside to make it 81-80 Jazz ...but Deron Williams came right back down and made a shot to make it 83-80 with 3:15 left and the Rockets never got any closer. Seconds later Carlos Boozer made it 85 to 80 ...and the Rockets were in trouble. The fans started heading to the exits. They wind up losing 90 to 84 ..and they now trail 2-games to none in this best of 7 series ....with the real possibility that this series will not return to Houston. Utah is the best home court team in the league ....and the Rockets will be hard-pressed to win ther ...if they can't win here. I sat the second half right beside the Jazz radio announcers ...and even they couldn't believe the unbelievable clutch shooting the Jazz came up with to win this game.
Game 3 will be Thursday night in Utah.
