Memphis Tigers Tough Early

As expected top-seeded Memphis holds the early advantage against Michigan State ... but the Spartans are hanging tough.

It's a total contrast in styles .... As the Spartans are trying to play a half court game ....while Memphis is constantly trying to push the tempo.

It'll be interesting if this is close late because Memphis makes less than 60% of their free throws.

Currently Memphhis leads 19-13 with 11:42 left in the first half.

Side note ...the UT players just came up through the crowd to watch this second game ....and they got a huge ovation from the Texas faithful.

I'm sure Texas fans from all around are trying to find tickets now to Sunday's Region Final.
