Watching this game on TV ..... a viewer probably can't understand the demanding nature of the sport of basketball ....but these young guys are giving it their all. Texas never stopped fighting ......and never stopped hustling .....but they just couldn't ever get a handle on Memphis superior corps of talent.

The 'Horns worked so hard in this game....but so did Memphis ...and the fact is ...Memphis showed the nation today their surperior depth.

Usually depth and 3 point shooting win these NCAA games ...and Memphis has both ....in addition to other great aspects of their game.

Memphis will win this game and play UCLA next Saturday in San Antonio. Texas will go back to Austin ....and it's players should all be back for next season. JD Lewis and Ian Mooney are both Seniors but both were also benchwarmers. And as good as DJ. Augustin is ...he should stay in school ...and not even think about the NBA at this point. If he does stay ....Texas will have a shot to win it all again next season.
