The Astros sent 9 players Monday morning to their minor league camp. $ players were sent down specifically to Triple-A Roound Rock .... right- handed pitchers Fernando Nieve, Paul Estrada and Chad Reineke ....and outfielder Yordany Ramirez. Right-handed pitchers Sammy Gervacio and Brad James were optioned to Double-A Corpus Christi. Also infielders Tommy Manzella and Lance Niekro were sent down to the minor league camp ... along with pitcher Josh Mueke. After those roster moves .... there are 44 players in the Astros Major League camp.
