Murphy .. a Democrat from Connecticut ... is asking the federal investigator, Charlie Scheleer ... if Clemens and others received sufficient notice that Senator Mitchell wanted to talk with them. Scheleer now has glasses on and reading from a prepared statement.
He claims that all players ... including Clemens .. were informed that Mitchell wanted to talk to them ......which of course is contrary to what Clemens maintains.
