Miguel Tejada Has Arrived ........

The Astros new shortstop Miguel Tejada arrived in camp this morning much to the delight of his manager ...Cecil Cooper... and his teammates. Tejada would not talk about the Federal investigation going on though ... .concerning his alleged lying to investigators back in 2005.

Tejada was all smiles when he met the media this morning ... and there was an overwhelming group of members of the media standing beside his locker starting around 8AM Eastern time.
He and the rest of his Astros teammates headed upstairs to meet with manager Cecil Cooper and owner Drayton McLane after he spoke with the media.

I asked him and other members of the media asked him several times about the ongoing investigation and he repeatedly said that,"I can't talk about it ...and I'm focusing on playing baseball and that's all." I'll have more with Tejada and the other news of the day ...on this the first full workout day for the team at spring training ........tonight at 6 & 10.
