Brocail ..... told me,"They told me they only test 4 times a year ....and this is an important one ....but the problem is ....I didn't know about this ...and I already took care of my "business" before I got here this morning. Kaz Matsui was late for the team meeting yesterday because he was having uranalysis issues.

Most players have never performance enhancement stuff ....so they just want the whole issue to go away. Most of them are sad to see Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte go through the public scrutiny they're currently experiencing. But in the end .... if this finally gets baseball to totally clean up it's act and the players' act .... then maybe it's all been worth it. Right now .. though these players just want to focus on playing the game ..... which no one blames them for.

As for Brocail ....he has had 4 stents put in his heart over the past several years ...and he says ... "As long as all of this testing doesn't affect my heart medicine ....I'll be okay. The best part of this is the young kids ....the young kids in the sport ....won't feel the pressure maybe that a lot of players have ... over the past several years ...to use the stuff to keep up."
The last I saw Brocail ...he was still drinking water.... hoping for some results to soon pour out.
