The Stafford High School football team didn't win a game this season.
But the players learned one of life's toughest lessons , how to persevere.
The Spartans went 0-and 10, but they were all winners because they never quit .
Linebacker Joe Dalton ll was an example of what real determination was all
about. At 5'10 and 185 pounds he's not the biggest linebacker you will ever see,
but his will to get to the ball made him look 7 feet tall.
In his first year as a full-time starter , Dalton recorded 123 tackles and 6 sacks in ten games.
Coach Henry Coleman said Joe was a team leader on and off the field ,
and he's hoping to play football on the next level .
Right now, Joe is taking his focus and determination to the Spartan's
basketball team.
