Viewing the sports world from a Houston point of view ...which I do .... it's a little tough watching another Texas NBA team move to the pinacle of the sport. I give Coach Pop and Tim Duncan credit for the 4 titles they've won together don't get me wrong. And the supporting cast that Poppavich and company put together around The Big Fundamental has been impressive. But c'mon .....Houston sports fans have to be hurting again today!! As many of us politely applaud the accomplishments of our !-10 basketball brothers on the outside, inside we're actually really hacked off that the local NBA franchise has basically accomplished nothing since their back-to-back titles in '94 & '95. The Spurs have now won 4 titles in 9 years. That my friends is a dynasty. I just hope the Rockets new hierarchy learns something from watching how the Spurs go about their business so we don't have to wait another 12 years before the next title to come to H-town.
