March 2007 ArchivesSo how are your brackets doing as we get ready to wrap up the final two days of games in the NCAA basketball tournament. When we started a couple of weeks ago, I meticulously went game by game through the tournament picking the teams who would end up in the final four and guess what? I got three out of the four teams right! There is one problem with my picks. The only team not in the final contests on my sheet is the one I had winning it all... the Kansas Jayhawks. I had Florida coming out of the Midwest, Georgetown slamming through the East, Ohio State sliding through the South and although I had UCLA... Texans owner Bob McNair is negotiating a deal with Matt Schaub from the Atlant Falcons. ...The Texans are really close to ushering in a new era After spending part of the day negoiating a contract
Last night before the Rockets bumped off the Clippers at We talked about "March Madness." You see, Drexler has been to the "Big Dance" and now he's going back. The first thing I noticed about Rockets shootaround Yao Ming has played 2 games since missing over 2 months The big fellow needs to get in shape like Lewis "Scooter" Libby
The Texans are expected to make the formal announcement on Clark shortly .... but Clark caught an early morning flight back to his home in California so he won't be on hand for the announcement. Clark says he's excited about becoming a Texan after signing a one year deal. He's expecting to play one of the outside linebacker spots ...after Demeco Ryans entrenched himself at the middle linebacker spot with his great rookie season in 2006. Clark was originally drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars ...and he told me this morning that he's excited to be back in the AFC Central division. According to free agent linebacker Danny Clark .... he has signed a deal to play for the Texans. The team has not confirmed the signing at this time ... but I expect a news conference to be held later today. Sunday, March 4 Hi, it's Matt Albers reporting from Kissimmee. It's sunny out here. The games just started Thursday. Actually, the day before our games started Wed. we went out to the golf course -- me and my two roommates, Jimmy Barthmaier and Lincoln Holdzkom, went to Kissimmee Bay to play a little golf.
